Can I book regular office help?

Yes – for example, weekly support with paperwork, data entry, or recurring administrative tasks.

How much does office help cost?
  • Hourly wage : On average €15–20 per hour (depending on city, effort, and time). Evening/weekend surcharges may apply. For jobs under 2 hours, we recommend paying at least €30. Payment is made directly to the helper –  in cash or by bank transfer upon agreement.
  • Placement fee: One-time per booking, payable via bank transfer or PayPal (invoice by email, 14-day payment term):

• 1 day: €25
• 2 days: €49
• 3 days: €69
• 4 days: €79
• 5 days: €89
• 6 days: €99
• 7 days or longer: €129
➝ Express placement (within 24h): + €10 per helper.
➝ Fees include VAT for private customers; plus VAT for business customers.

Do helpers bring their own equipment?

Students usually work on-site with your office equipment (computer, phone, printer).

Can helpers also work remotely?

Yes, by arrangement – for tasks such as data entry, research, or customer communication.

Are the helpers insured?

Job2Student is a mediation platform, so helpers are not automatically insured. Clients engage helpers at their own risk. For ongoing work, we recommend registration via the Minijob Center. Students usually have health insurance.

Do helpers also come to offices in remote areas?

Yes, if travel arrangements are agreed. Remote work can also be a flexible solution.

Can I change the appointment?

Yes, simply coordinate with the helper – please inform them as early as possible.

How can I cancel a booking?

Cancel ideally at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel after successful placement, only the placement fee will be charged.
