Yes! Depending on your needs, you can book 1–5 (or even more) helpers to make your move smooth and stress-free.

Ideally 2–14 days before your move. But don’t worry – last-minute bookings are also possible, especially in larger cities.

Your costs are made up of:

• Hourly wage: from €15–20 per hour (depending on city, workload, and time of day – evening/weekend surcharges may apply). For jobs under 2 hours, a minimum of €25 per helper applies.
• Placement fee: Job2Student arranges helpers in exchange for a placement fee. This fee is payable to the platform by bank transfer or PayPal.  You will receive the invoice by email as soon as a placement has been successfully arranged. It must be paid within 14 days.

Example placement fees per assistant:

• 1 day: €25
• 2 days: €49
• 3 days: €69
• 4 days: €79
• 5 days: €89
• 6 days: €99
• 7 days or longer: €129

👉 For private clients, VAT is already included. For business clients, VAT is added.
👉 Urgent bookings within 24 hours cost an additional €10 per helper.

👉With every first successful order, you’ll automatically receive a 10% discount on our commission fee. This discount can be applied to any future booking and remains valid until it is used.

Yes – just let us know in advance. Helpers can bring basic tools like screwdrivers, cordless drills, or pliers. For special equipment, please specify this in your request in advance or agree with the assistant.

Absolutely! Many helpers are available on Saturdays and Sundays. We recommend booking early to secure availability.

Yes, flexibility is possible. Simply coordinate with your helper. If a change isn’t possible, you can cancel and rebook easily.

Yes. Please notify us or cancel on the platform in good time so that alternative assistance can be arranged. Please note that in the event of cancellation after a successful match, only the matchmaking fee will be charged.

If both locations are nearby, your helper can cover both. For longer distances, we recommend booking separate helpers for each location – we’ll make sure you’re covered at both ends.

Yes! If you need ongoing support, you can book the same helper for several appointments.

No, helpers do not bring their own vans. However, they can drive a rental van (up to 3.5 tons, e.g. Sprinter class from SIXT, Europcar, Buchbinder, etc.) if needed.

Yes, as long as helpers are available nearby or travel arrangements have been agreed. Travel costs may apply.

• Shorter: Please pay at least for the booked time as a fair minimum.
• Longer: In most cases, helpers are happy to stay longer by arrangement.

Our helpers are experienced and careful. However, Job2Student is a placement platform and cannot accept liability for damages. We recommend private liability and, if needed, transport insurance.

Our student helpers are not automatically insured, since we only act as an intermediary and not as an employer.

If you want to insure the helpers, we recommend registering them with the employers’ liability insurance association (Berufsgenossenschaft ) and via the Minijob Center (Minijob-Zentrale). However, students normally have health insurance.
